DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District (JVWCD) desires to receive bids for the sandblasting and repainting of existing pipes and appurtenances in vaults within its distribution system. The existing coatings on the piping in the vaults have been tested for 'lead' and we are currently awaiting results. Work will be awarded based upon the lowest responsive and responsible quote. No Award of Purchase Order will be awarded to a Contractor who does not hold an active business license in good standing applicable to the type of work to be performed, and/or is not registered with the State of Utah. The JVWCD (Owner) reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a proposal, and to make awards in the interest of the Owner. Furthermore, the Owner reserves the right to delete any item(s) from the Bid Schedule.
