Bids must be accompanied by a corporate surety bond made in favor of Olmsted County or a certified check made payable to the Olmsted County Treasurer for 5% of the amount of the bid. Upon execution of the Contract, certified checks or bid bonds will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders within 30 days of the opening of the bids. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Surety Bond. Question Deadline 08/22/2025 Olmsted County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities thereof. The Contractor will receive compensation provided for in the Contract as full payment for providing Materials and performing Work in accordance with the Contract requirements. This includes compensation for all risk, loss, damage, and expense incurred by the Contractor for performing the Work required by the Contract. Payment is subject to 1720, "No Waiver of Legal Rights." The Department prohibits the Contractor from accepting payment from any other party for performing the Work required by the Contract, including any Incentive or bonus payment. The Department does not prohibit the following payments from third parties: (1) Payments from sureties (2) Quantity-based rebates or credits from suppliers (3) Payments under another contract for excess material removed under this Contract
