Coshocton County - Well Rehab - 2025 Sr-83 No Addenda Are Issued in Association With the Bidder's Request, the Proposed Equal Shall Be Considered Rejected The Contractor is Responsible for Scheduling the Project, Coordinating All Sub-contractors and Providing Other Services Identified in the Contract Documents Shall Be the Mechanical Contractor, Also Named as the Lead Contractor. A Certified Check or Cashier's Check in the Amount Equal to Ten Percent (10%) of the Total Bid Amount Submitted With a Signed Bid Guaranty Form. Upon Entering Into a Contract With the Owner, the Successful Bidder Must Then File a Performance Bond for the Full Amount of the Contract. Checks Will Be Returned to the Successful and Unsuccessful Bidders When the Contract is Executed; or After Sixty (60) Days. Checks Are to Be Made Payable to the City of Coshocton. B. A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the Full Amount of the Bid. The Bond Will Be Retained for the Successful Bidder, but Returned to the Unsuccessful Bidders Upon Execution of the Contract. If No Contract Award Has Been Made Within Sixty (60) Days After the Opening of Bids, a Bidder May Demand the Return of the Bid Security Provided the Bidder Has Not Been Notified of the Acceptance of Its Bid. Attorney-in-fact Who Sign Contract Bonds Must File With Each Bond a Certified Copy of Their Power of Attorney, Properly Dated. Checks Should Be Made Payable. Failure to Submit a Proper Bond Will Automatically Invalidate the Bid. If the Successful Bidder Fails to Enter a Contract or Defaults in Any Portion of His/her Bid the Bid Guarantee Shall Be Forfeited as Liquidated Damages, Submit Your Offer on the Bid Form Provided. Bidders May Supplement This Form as Appropriate. The Owner Reserves the Right to Accept or Reject Any or All Offers, to Accept the Lowest Responsible Bids, to Waive Any Informalities in Bids Received, and to Enter Into the Contract Which, in the Sole Judgment of the Owner, Will Suit the Owner's Needs. Summary of Project The City of Coshocton is seeking a qualified general contractor to undertake in the connection of existing overhead conductors to new overhead conductors provided by the utility, select demolition and upgrades on 9 well houses, 6 of which are enclosed. The scope of work includes providing new electrical panels, interior and exterior luminaires for the enclosed well houses, rewiring of electrical panels, and installation of electrical equipment such as VFD and SCADA systems with cellular connection for each well house. Additionally, infilling of windows to match existing brick on exterior, door replacements, and replacement of existing exterior stairs and platforms with new ones is required for the enclosed well houses. Moreover, the exterior of the enclosed well houses will be fully painted as part of the project. For the 3 open platform wells, new electrical panels, rewiring of electrical panels, and installation of electrical equipment. The work encompasses building improvements, site utilities, and electrical, with coordination managed by the General Contractor. A bid bond and performance bond are required and liquidated damages (paragraph 6.13) apply to this project. The project is bid as single contract for a General Contractor. The successful bidder, on a lump sum basis, shall provide all labor and materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work in accordance with the provisions of the Contract Documents.
