Renovation of a municipal facility in Riverhead, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The work consists of the following: The replacement of three rooftop air handler units located in two mechanical penthouses, replacement of the roofs, and an add alternate for insulation of the building overhang. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total Base Bid, made payable to the Suffolk County Comptroller. This bid bond will be held as a guarantee that in the event the bid is accepted and contract awarded to the Bidder, the contract will be duly executed and properly secured. Any questions regarding this project shall be directed to JavedAshraf, P.E. at (631) 278-3860 and javed.ashraf@ suffolkcountyny.gov. Question Deadline 09/04/2025 Every request for such interpretation shall be addressed in writing to the Commissioner of Public Works and must be received at least five (5) days prior to the date set for the opening of the bids. Bid date notes: Bids for this contract shall be submitted in a separate sealed envelope with the name of the contract clearly noted on the outside of the envelope.
