The three boilers that power the Jean Talon hospital have reached their useful life and are all outdated. In this project, we are going to replace boiler number 2 with a fire tube boiler with a net power of 200HP or 6695000 btu/h. Currently only the boiler number 3 is functional with its full capacity. Boiler 1 is used only at 10% of its capacity as an extra during the winter. The pre-order of the equipment was subject to a separate call for tenders, but the contract will be assigned to the contractor.
