Site work for a water / sewer project in Jonesville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project includes the following Work: 1 Installation of 2,989 LF of 8" PVC C900 water line and associated appurtenances. 2 Installation of 3,745 LF of 6" PVC C900 water line and associated appurtenances. 3 Installation of (9) 12-inch and (1) 8-inch insertion valves on existing mains. 4 Replacement of 1,282 water services from main to meter. a. Includes replacement of meter box, meter setter and backflow preventer. b. Existing services to be abandoned after installation of new service. INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. Bidders will be required to show evidence that they are licensed to perform the work in the Bidding Documents as required by North Carolina General Statute, Chapter 87 and the Instructions to Bidders. Bid Security in the amount of five (5) percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid and shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Bids. Unless all Bids are rejected, Award will be made to the lowest responsible Bidder, taking into consideration quality, performance and the time specified in the proposals for the performance of the Contract.
