District/ division : Lubbock County (controlling project) : Lamb Let type : Local District Let Highway (ccsj): US0084 Type of work (controlling project): Traffic Control Services Bidder pre-qualification waiver : No Limit From: Various Locations Limit to: Various Locations Traffic Control - Littlefield 180 Calendar Days TXDOT : Traffic Control Services - US0084 Scope of Work If agreed upon in writing by both parties to the contract, the contract may be extended for an additional period of time not to exceed the original contract time period. The extended contract will be for the original bid quantities, terms and conditions plus any applicable change orders. This contract includes non-site specific work. All work shall be performed on an as needed basis. An Authorization to Begin Work letter shall be issued to begin this contract. A minimum 24 hour written notice shall be provided by TxDOT Maintenance personnel to the Contractor specifying work type, location and start time. The Contractor shall report to the TxDOT Maintenance Office or designated location to participate in a pre-work Tailgate safety meeting. CANCELLATION POLICY: If TxDOT cancels work operations the day of the scheduled work, TxDOT shall pay the Contractor: 0.25% of a Day, 2 hours for non-maintenance items and/or 0.25% of an Each for each requested work type. Maintenance items shall not receive any cancellation payment.
