Lifecycle upgrades for four existing facilities. Request for Proposals, for all labor, materials and services necessary for the construction of Forsyth County Schools: HVAC Renovations & Modifications to Chattahoochee Elementary School, Chestatee Elementary School, Silver City Elementary School, & Little Mill Middle School at 2800 Holtzclaw Rd, Cumming GA 30041, 6945 Keith Bridge Rd, Cumming, GA 30506, 6200 Dahlonega Hwy, Cumming, GA 30028, and 6800 Little Mill Rd, Cumming, GA 30041. Contractors will be given access to the Engineer's One-Drive link where the Proposal and Contract Documents may be downloaded at no charge. Plans may also be accessed by Subcontractors or Material Suppliers. Any Contractor submitting a Proposal must procure a set of the Contract Documents from the Engineer. No rights of way or easements are anticipated for the Project. No Proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after Proposal opening, except as otherwise expressly provided by applicable law. Proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the proposed lump sum contract price (exclusive of alternates and unit prices). Both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond will be required in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. The Owner will provide the forms of all bonds. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond will be required for the HVAC prime contractor. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, and to waive technicalities and informalities. The proposal includes a breakdown by system. The project will be awarded by lump sum only. The breakdown is for state reimbursement use only.
