Site work for a road / highway in Middletown, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The New York State Department of Transportation is assisting WSP USA, Inc. (WSP) in the selection and retention of a Subcontractor, to provide Work Zone Traffic Control for the Consultant Pavement Core Team throughout the Route 17 Corridor between Interchanges 103 & 107, under Contract No. D037863 PIN 9068.02 & 9068.03. The selected Subcontractor shall be solely responsible to provide all labor, operators, materials, machinery, tools, and equipment related to Work Zone Traffic Control & Access Equipment for the Roadway pavement cores at Various Locations Along Route 17, in the County of Sullivan in the State of New York. The required work zone traffic control will assist WSP and New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) personnel, or their authorized designee, with the pavement roadway coring. All work, equipment and procedures shall meet as a minimum, the requirements of the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) Standard documentable experience. All Subcontractors' personnel assigned to this work shall have the necessary certifications to perform said work and must be able to communicate in a clear and effective manner. All equipment must meet NYSDOT requirements, regulations, directives, guidelines, policies, procedures, manuals and all applicable laws. The project duration is from the beginning of the Contract (anticipated in August 2025) until December 31, 2026. The number of workdays required per crew to provide Work Zone Traffic Control per week will vary from zero to five (0 to 5) days. As many as two (2) separate work crews with all necessary equipment and materials may be required to work simultaneously at any time during the Contract. Also, full and partial day and nighttime closures will be required to complete the work. One contract will be awarded for day and night work. Insurance: Insurance requirements are as follows and shall be in accordance with the specifications in the Bid Documents: Policies of Bodily Injury Liability and Property Damage Liability Insurance; Policies of Automobile and Truck Insurance; Workmen's Compensation Insurance; All Subcontractor's. Permits - WSP will procure all permits necessary to perform work, including, but not limited to entry and temporary lane closure permits.
