No definite date for the rebid.** The work covered by the Contract Documents includes the following: Contract 24- 1, Magazine Branch Sanitary Sewer Improvements Contract 24-1A Work associated with this contract area generally includes replacement of 10,800 linear feet of 6, 8, 12, and 16 gravity sewer main; 3,500 linear feet of 6 house service pipe for 128 house service replacements; 60 manholes; 12 lampholes/cleanouts; and associated pavement restoration. Contract 24-1B Work associated with this contract area generally includes replacement of 12,850 linear feet of 6 and 8 gravity sewer main; 2,650 linear feet of 6 house service pipe for 93 house service replacements; 62 manholes; 24 lampholes/cleanouts; and associated pavement restoration. Contract 24-1C Work associated with this contract area generally includes replacement of 7,500 linear feet of 6 and 8 gravity sewer main; 660 linear feet of 6 house service pipe for 31 house service replacements; 43 manholes; 12 lampholes/cleanouts; and associated pavement restoration. The work for each Contract will be substantially complete within 270 calendar days and ready for final payment within 300 calendar days after the date when the Contract Time commences to run. Liquidated damages shall be $1,000.00 per day. A Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and a Surety Company approved by the Owner, in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid, shall be submitted with each Bid, to guarantee the Bidders entrance into a Contract The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and is not necessarily bound to accept the lowest Bid, if Owner determines that Bid is contrary to the best interest of the Owner.
