Qualification and Price Proposals are requested from interested parties for the addition and renovation to an existing fire station structure The Bedington Volunteer Fire Department is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified contractors for the construction of an addition and renovation to the existing fire station located at 1036 Mid Atlantic Parkway, Martinsburg, WV 25404 as outlined below: o Construction of a new 40' x 50' x 16' pole building addition, including complete foundation work. o Interior build-out to create an additional 630 square feet of living space. o Renovation and integration of new living space with the existing structure, for a total of 938 square feet of updated living space. o The targeted completion date for the entire project is January 1, 2026 The objective of this RFP is to obtain a competitive proposal that outlines the vendor's capability to offer high-quality, affordable, and comprehensive construction services. The ideal vendor should be able to provide the best value, service, and flexibility in managing this project. A. SCOPE OF SERVICES The selected vendor will be required to provide the following services for Bedington Volunteer Fire Department: 1. New Construction (Pole Building Addition) o Dimensions: 40' wide x 50' long x 16' high o Foundation: Concrete slab exists. Footers as required by code o Structural framing and exterior finishes to match or complement existing building o Installation of doors, windows, insulation, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing as needed 2. Living Quarters o Addition of approximately 630 sq ft of new living space o Integration with existing 308 sq ft to total 938 sq ft o Build-out to include kitchen, bathrooms, sleeping quarters, and/or common space o All interior finishes, mechanical systems, and fixtures included o Compliance with ADA, fire, and local building codes 3. Renovations o Renovation of current living quarters (approx. 308 sq ft) to match new construction o Interior and exterior updates as needed for uniformity and functionality B. ELIGIBILITY This proposal is open to all licensed and experienced construction companies capable of providing the requested services.
