Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Geraldton, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
The Geraldton Community Centre located in Northwestern Ontario (Geraldton) was originally constructed in the 70's and is equipped with an arena ice surface, curling rink, multi-purpose room and common areas. The Municipality invites qualified Bidders to Tender for the role of Prime Contractor to supply all labour, materials, equipment and services required for the execution of various interior and exterior facility renovations to meet regulatory standards and improve the facility's recreational experience. Renovations include main entrance access reconstruction, interior and exterior door replacements, arena dasher board replacement, LED lighting upgrades, interior wall renovations, and furnace replacements. The work involves staggered completion dates in 2026 so as not to interfere with winter recreational programming utilizing the arena and curling club. The Municipality engaged BlackRock Engineering as its Consultant for this project.
