Renovation of a library in Weslaco, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
As of October 23, 2025, project is awarded to Dysis in the amount of $152,025.28. Reference Number 0000395044 The city of Weslaco is soliciting bids for Audio Visual Equipment for Mayor Joe V. Sanchez New Public Library. Work of the Project consists generally of the installation of new Audio Visual Equipment within the New Public Library Building, which is currently under construction. Bid Intent Optional Bid Intent Deadline 08/22/2025 . Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % Bids will be irrevocable for 90 days from the bid date. Bidder may withdraw after 90 days without penalty if no mutual agreement can be reached. Mobilization Date: Coincides with tentative Substantial Completion Date - of February 1, 2026, of the MJVSPL New Library, which is currently under construction. The Mobilization Date is the first day that new equipment may be delivered to the site and installation begins. Final Completion Date: Thirty (30) Days after Mobilization Date: Coincides with Final Completion Date of the new library.
