The project involves construction services for Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) Infrastructure Upgrades at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center. The contractor shall provide all necessary tools, labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and quality control to complete the work. The scope includes the addition of telecommunication rooms throughout the Damen, Atrium, Temp (32), Taylor, Ogden, and Bed Pavilion buildings. Work includes selective demolition; installation, testing, and certification of Cat6a cabling; emergency electrical distribution system improvements such as power distribution panels, lighting, controls, receptacles, grounding-bonding, and UPS systems; upgrades to physical security and access control systems; and finishes for walls, floors, and ceilings in new or altered rooms. All work must comply with safety and infection control standards and result in a complete, compliant, and fully functional infrastructure upgrade.
