The proposed Chapel Street Sanitary Forcemain Extension is located in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia and consists of the extension of the existing sanitary forcemain and addition of two air release valves and chambers. The work to be completed under this contract includes (but is not limited to) the following: o Clearing, grubbing, topsoil removal, and trench excavation and backfill with suitable materials; o Supply, installation, and testing of sanitary pressure main, swing check valve, sanitary gravity drain, and connections to existing sanitary pressure main including all fittings and thrust blocks; o Supply, installation, and testing of two sanitary air release valves and chambers; o Locates of existing water services and all required service adjustments; o Coordination with Nova Scotia Power Inc. for all utility pole stabilization; o Supply and installation of Type 1 and Type 2 gravels, type B-HF and C-HF asphalt, and exposed aggregate concrete for roadway and driveway reinstatement; o Supply, installation, and maintenance of all required environmental protection; o Reinstatement of all disturbed areas including streets, driveways, line paint, signs, landscaping, topsoil and sod, and all other surfaces; Question Deadline 08/26/2025 Direct questions to Bob Rowe, P.Eng., telephone (902) 678-2774 or by e-mail at r.rowe@ableinc.ca Clarifications requested by Tenderers must be in writing not less than three (3) working days before date set for receipt of Tenders Estimated Duration of Contract (months) 4
