Renovation of a water / sewer project in Coal City, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Sealed Bids will be received by the Village of Coal City for "Water Treatment Plant Emergency Backup Generator." The project is further described as follows: The installation of a new permanent stand-by generator and associated utilities and site improvements. Bidders are advised that this Contract will be subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. The Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the gross amount of the bid and be payable to the order of the Village of Coal City. Bids may be held by the Village of Coal City for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any of all Bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Question Deadline 08/26/2025 Bidder shall submit ail questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer In writing
