Renovation of a water / sewer project in McAllen, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Request for Sealed Proposals for the McAllen Public Utility; Equipment Procurement - South McAllen Water Treatment Plant Backup Power Generator Project. The proposal is exclusive to the procurement of equipment related to providing Back-up Power Generation for City of McAllen's South Water Treatment Plant. No construction is included in this scope of work. The selected respondent will be expected to deliver all equipment subject to terms in proposal and contract that will be established. A Bidder's Bond from a reliable surety company licensed to operate in the State of Texas or certified Cashier's Check, (Bid Security) payable without recourse to the City of McAllen, for the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid shall be submitted via a sealed envelope as a guaranty that if awarded the contract, the bidder will enter into a contract with the City of McAllen. The Bidder's bid security shall be submitted before the above-mentioned electronic bid opening date and time. Failure to submit the bid security shall be grounds for disqualification. The City of McAllen reserves the right to refuse and reject any or all bids and to waive any or all formalities or technicalities, or to accept the bids considered the best value to the City, and to hold the bids for a period of sixty (60) days without taking action.
