George Shannon wetlands cell 16 east levee repair. Levee is approximately 3000' long with multiple slides and nutria rodent dens. Question Deadline September 10, 2025, 5:00pm Questions are to be submitted using the Question and Answer process through online. End Date: September 30th, 2025 Contractor Selection Date: August 22, 2025 Repair cell 16 levee to a 3 to 1 grade. Compact in 8-12''lifts. Grade levy back to a 3 to 1. During excavating contractor must refrain from going below original floor elevation 250.54'. Compact in 8''-12'' lifts at 95% compaction. Add coastal seed to repaired levee. Clean up and repair any damaged roads from the project to original condition. Contractor Responsibilities - any damages to structures, bridges, roads. A second levee is approximately 1 mile on same property to utilize for any material needed for cell 16 levee repair. Pump ground water from deep zone at toe of cell 16 levee to canal adjacent to cell. (If needed) Warranty-2 year. All proposals will remain subject to acceptance for 90 days calendar days after the proposal opening, but the District may, at its sole discretion, release any proposal and return the proposal security prior to the end of this period. For Proposals over $50,000, Bidders must submit a bid bond of at least two (2) percent of the total amount of the bid issued by a surety legally authorized to do business in the State of Texas. The proposal security shall be a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the Offeror will promptly enter into a contract in the form attached hereto and furnish any necessary bonds required by the District within ten (10) calendar days after the Contract has been awarded. The proposal security shall be forfeited to the District should the Offeror fail to enter into a contract and/or fail to provide acceptable bonds. The proposal bond shall be made payable to the Tarrant Regional Water District. The District reserves the right to reject the proposal of any Offeror which does not meet the above criteria and/or the other terms and conditions expressed herein to the District's satisfaction. The District also reserves the right to waive all formalities and technicalities to adopt the most advantageous construction of the contract documents or any applicable statute or code. Multiple part questions cannot be answered until all responses have been prepared. A response to multiple part questions will be to request bidder to resubmit questions individually 3. Do not use this as a forum to request approval of an alternate product. Follow the provision of the bidding documents for this process 5. Ask questions early. The deadline for questions will not be extended unless the date for receipt of bids is extended. No response will be made to questions asked after the deadline 6. Responses to questions are not part of the Contract Documents and cannot modify the Contract Documents. An addendum must be issued to clarify, correct or change the Contract Documents, addenda or the related supplemental data The District's Diverse Business Participation Goal on this project is 10%% of the base proposal value of the contract.
