The purpose of this Invitation for Bids is to establish one or more term contracts for the supply of soils, top dressing, topsoil, and bunker sand to support the operational needs of all departments and agencies of Fairfax County. These materials will be used for a variety of applications, including general landscaping, construction, grounds maintenance, and turf and bunker management, particularly at County parks, facilities, and the County-operated golf courses. The period of this contract shall be from the Date of Award through October 31, 2030. Any bid in response to this solicitation shall be valid for (180) days. At the end of the days the bid may be withdrawn at the written request of the bidder. If the bid is not withdrawn at that time it remains in effect until an award is made or the solicitation is cancelled.
