Description

Site work for a power facility in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a power facility.

EPB is seeking proposals from qualified electrical contractors to provide full turnkey services for converting approximately two miles of overhead electric power lines to underground infrastructure. The selected contractor will be responsible for managing and scheduling all work, coordinating flag-ging operations, maintaining active 1-call notifications, and working closely with EPB on material pulls, customer outages, and conflict resolution. This project is sup-ported by a Department of Energy GRIP grant, and all labor must comply with Davis-Bacon wage requirements. The goal is to enhance grid resilience and reliability through strategic undergrounding efforts. EPB reserves the right to reject any and or all bids, waive any informalities in the bids received, and to accept any bid which, in its opinion, may be in the best interest of the Board.
