Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Fulton, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

This project consists of providingthe labor, materials, and equipmentfor improvements along NicholsStreet. Work to include the removalof existing concrete curb, sidewalks,driveways, storm box and asphaltpavements. New construction will include approximately 2,075 linear feetof curb & gutter, 1,053 square yardsof sidewalk and driveway approaches, 3,725 square yards of coldmilling, 413 tons of surface asphaltoverlay and storm sewer inlet andpipe installation. All work within public right of wayshall be, in compliance with the 2025 Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction -Dated July, 2025. Each bidder must deposit with hisbid, security in the amount of (5%) ofthe bid amount, in accordance withthe Instructions for Bidders. For a contractor to be awarded thisproject the contractor must have afully responsive contractor questionnaire on file with the MissouriHighway and Transportation Commission at least 7 days prior to thebid opening date. No Second TierSubcontracting will be allowed. The wage rates applicable to thisproject have been predetermined asrequired by law and are set forth inthis specification. When Federalwage rates are applicable and included, this contract is subject tothe "Work Hours Act of 1962", (P.L.87-581: 76 Stat. 357) and implementing regulations. When state and federal wage rates are both required thehigher of the two for each job classification shall be used. Effective January 1, 2009 and pursuant to RSMo 285.530 (1), No business entity or employer shallknowingly employ, hire for employment, or continue to employ anunauthorized alien to perform workwithin the state of Missouri. Thesuccessful bidder must submit asworn affidavit and documentationaffirming the business entity's enrollment and participation in the federal work authorization program andthat all of its employees working forthe contracted services are not illegal immigrants. Upon signing the contract, the successful contractor and any subcontractor performing the work shallprovide a ten-hour OccupationalSafety and Health Administration(OSHA) construction safety programfor their on-site employees.
