Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development; for site work for a multi-residential development; and for asbestos abatement for a multi-residential development.
BC Housing is seeking a general contractor to complete abatement, interior and exterior renovations which would include necessary fire and life safety upgrades for a 24/7 shelter in Fraser Region, BC. The renovation would have to follow the abatement given the removal of smoke detectors and other life safety equipment that are required to operate the shelter. The property is currently occupied by tenants and may remain occupied throughout the project, if feasible. The operators will be expected to accommodate the contractor or vacate the premise while the work is taking place.
