The City of Bryant, Arkansaswill Receive Bids on a Generalcontract to Provide a Directpedestrian Connection From Mills Park to Alcoa Park. Constructionwill Include an Asphalt Overlay of Existing Sidewalk, New Asphalttrail, New Drainage Structures, Anda Crosswalk Upgrade. For any questions concerning Contractor's Licensing Requirements contact the State Licensing Board at (501) 372-4661. Pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. 22-9-203, the Owner Encouragesall Small, Minority, and Womenbusiness Enterprises to Submitbids for Capital Improvements.encouragement is Also Made to Allgeneral Contractors That in Theevent They Subcontract Portions Oftheir Work, Consideration is Given To the Identified Groups. Each Bid Must Be Submitted Onthe Prescribed Form and Accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond Executed on the Prescribedform, Payable to City of Bryant in An Amount Not Less Than 5 Percent Of the Amount Bid. The Owner Reserves the Right Towaive Irregularities, Reject Bids,choose the Most Qualified Bidder For the Project, and to Postponeaward of the Contract for a Periodof Time Which Shall Not Exceed Beyond 90 Days From the Bid Opening Date.
