Replace any deteriorated roof sheathing. Unit price to be entered on page TF-8, Schedule "D". 2 Remove existing eavestrough and dispose of at a proper waste disposal site. Supply and Install new metal fascia with new where deteriorated. Unit price to be entered on page TF-8, Schedule "D". 3 Where rotted or inadequate or other signs of water penetration inspect attic insulation and replace any wet or deteriorated. Unit price to be entered on page TF-8, Schedule "D". Re-nail existing roof deck, using galvanized nails to penetrate framing by 50mm. Fill in any ridge openings to match existing. 5 Supply and Install new vent stack required as per specifications and per drawing 10-101. 6 Re-Install existing galvanized roof vents as per specifications. 7 Install drip edge under the eave protection at the eaves and over the eave protection at the rake's edge, with a minimum 50mm flange extending onto the roof deck. Nail the drip edge maximum 300mm o.c 8 Apply eave protection underlayment parallel to eaves over the entire roof area. Lap over each underlying course by at least 50mm at the edges and 100mm overlap at the horizontal joints. .9 Install new TWO TONE BLACK shingles using high wind application as directed by manufacturer, ensuring proper coverage and nailing using six (6) nails per shingle. Roofing cement shall be applied with a 100mm wide continuous strip of plastic cement as per specifications drawing 7-100. 10 Supply and Install new ridge vent as per specifications. 11 Supply new continuous metal eavestrough and downspouts angled away from foundation and concrete splash blocks over two side entrances as per specifications. NLHC is required by the Public Procurement Regulations under the Newfoundland and Labrador Public Procurement Act to apply a ten percent (10%) reduction to the pricing submitted by provincial suppliers for the purposes of evaluating pricing. This reduction will only be applied when the evaluation includes submissions from non-provincial suppliers. Commercial General Liability Insurance: Without restricting the generality of Section 5 - Indemnity hereof, the Contractor shall maintain, at its expense, Commercial General Liability Insurance acceptable to NLHC to protect NLHC against all liabilities or damages in respect of injuries to persons (including injuries resulting in death) in the minimum amount of two million dollars ($2,000,000) with respect to the operations of the Contractor and/or its Sub-Contractors and in respect of damages to property arising out of performance of the Work. This insurance shall include NLHC and the occupant of the property as Additional Insureds. The Contractor shall not commence any work until a Certificate of Insurance, obtained at the Contractor's expense, has been received and approved by NLHC as specified herein.
