Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Flippin, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
For furnishinglabor, equipment, materials, supplies, and supervision necessaryto construct a pre-engineeredpedestrian bridge and associated concrete sidewalks, earthwork,and appurtenances. A CERTIFIED OR CASHIER'SCHECK, or an acceptable bid bond in the amount not less than fivepercent (5%) of the total bid shallaccompany each bid as a guaranty that, if awarded the contract,the bidder will promptly enter into a contract with the City of Flippin,Arkansas and furnish bonds onthe forms provided. NO BID may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least Thirty (30)calendar days. IN CASE of ambiguity or lack ofclearness stating the price in the bids, the City of Flippin, Arkansas reserves the right to consider themost advantageous constructionthereof, or to reject the bid. THE CITY OF FLIPPIN,ARKANSAS reserves the right toreject any or all bids, waive any orall informalities, and to award the contract to the bidder or bidderswho, in the opinion of the Owner,offers the proposal to the best interest of same. THE CITY OF FLIPPIN,ARKANSAS hereby notifies all bidders that this contract is subjectto applicable labor laws, non-discrimination provisions, wage rate laws, and other federal laws including the Fair Labor StandardsAct of 1938. The Work Hours Actof 1962 and Title VI of the CivilRights Act of 1964 also apply.
