This project will replace the Water Treatment/Pumps & Wells Supervisory Control andData Acquisition (SCADA) system. The current SCADA system is outdated andobsolete. It is not compatible with current Windows operating systems, and there is nolonger factory support. The current system had been maintained by the prior WaterTreatment and Production Administrator. Emergency paging capabilities aresubstandard and unreliable, and system updates are no longer available. SCADA is thebackbone for reporting, monitoring, and control of the entire Water Treatment andProduction system. The project is included in the City's 2027-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of June 30, 2026, further details have not yet been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
