The Town Board requires each proposal to be accompanied by a certified check for a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, or a bond with sufficient sureties to be approved by the Town Attorney, in a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the amount bid, conditioned that if his/her proposal is accepted, he/she will execute such further security as may be required for the faithful performance of the Contract as set forth in these contract documents. Proposals shall be open for acceptance for 90 days following the submission closing date.
