Site work and paving for a civil project in Cleveland, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
Construction Manager at Risk for Cleveland Metro parks Bridge Maintenance Program. The selected Construction Manager, in partnership with the Cleveland Metro parks and Design Team will develop pricing for the repairs, will develop construction means and methods, will identify long lead items and procurement obstacles and will construct the Project. If the Construction Manager exceeds the Substantial Completion Date, then the Construction Manager shall pay to Cleveland Metro parks the sum of [Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00)] per day for liquidated damages, and not as a penalty, it being understood and acknowledged that actual damages would be difficult to ascertain with precision in any such case and that the amount of such liquidated damages bear a reasonable relationship to the actual damages that may be projected. Cleveland Metro parks reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to negotiate or to reject any and all Statements and parts of any and all Statements and waive all technicalities.
