Renovation of a residential development in Pensacola, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 704-square-foot residential development.

Project Location 2305 N J ST, 2305 N. J St., 221 Palafox Place, Pensacola, FL 32502, 221 Palafox Place #305 Pensacola, FL 32502-5822, 221 Palafox Place, Pensacola, FL 32502. Question Submission Deadline August 20, 2025, 1:00pm Rehabilitation of an owner-occupied single-family residence to make homes safe and sanitary within the provisions of federal and state laws, county ordinances and the CRA repair program. Rehabilitation of the home will include the following tasks as outlined below. If additional tasks beyond those included in the quote are discovered, then additional funds may be allocated for additional tasks pending written approval from the county. There is no federal funding on this project. Remove existing roof covering the decking and replace any deteriorated or damaged decking with like, kind, and quality of existing materials. Repair or replace any damaged roof framing to include rafter tails, rafters, and barge rafters. Refasten and certify decking attachment. Install a peel and stick underlayment water barrier. Replace the existing drip edge with a new metal drip edge. Install new slant-back vents, replace gas vent caps and all flashing as required. Replace all boots with new lead, EPDM, and/or metal boots. Install 30-year architectural (CertainTeed Landmark or equivalent) roof shingle as per manufacturer's specifications and/or a self-adhering modified bitumen roof system to any low sloped areas as per the Escambia County Building Code. Then install new shingle over the ridge vents. Budget 704 square feet for damaged decking replacement and budget 360 lineal feet of 2x4. Install hurricane clips if they are missing. Trim any trees over hanging roof to clear roof by approximately 10' and remove all debris from site. Repair or replace any damaged fascia and soffit with like material and match the finish as close as possible. Replace only the existing gutters with new 6", seamless gutters. This is to include 4" downspouts, splash blocks, and diverters. Photographs are required for all stages of construction. Repair all drywall surfaces that are damaged or incomplete. Repaired areas are to match as close as possible to existing surrounding areas and add insulation to areas where insulation is missing. Reattach the electrical mast to conform to the national electrical code as per the Escambia County Building Code. A new power pack and riser may be required.
