Site work for a water / sewer project in Lakeview, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Extend approximately 5,000 linear feet of 8" waterline from Lake Street to Township Highway 239. The proposed waterline will begin at the existing 8" line on East Lake Street, follow along US-33, and connect to the existing 8" line on East Harrison Street. From there, it will continue from the opposite end of the existing 8" line on Harrison Street, cross the open lot adjacent to US-33, and proceed through Four Seasons Camping Ground, Frontier Resort Cottages, and the open lot next to the Frontier Cottages. The waterline will then continue along Main Street and ultimately connect to the existing 8" line on Township Highway 239. The bid guaranty may be of two forms: A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond using the form in the Contract Documents. (The amount of the bid does NOT have to appear on this form.) A certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit in favor of The Village of Lakeview in the amount of 10% of the bid. If the contract is awarded, a Contract Bond will be required, which is a 100% payment and performance bond. The Engineer's opinion of probable cost for this project is $845,000.00 for the base bid and $1,000,000.00 for the alternate bid. The successful bidder will be required to pay Ohio Prevailing Wage Rates.
