Renovation of a mixed-use development in Edmonton, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The existing lighting is primarily fluorescent tube type which is required to be changed out to LED. The intent of the stairwell lighting upgrade is two-fold, energy conservation and stronger illumination. The Division would like to engage a lighting supply and installation contractor. Proponents are required to propose the type of LED lighting to be supplied and subsequently installed into the existing original locations within each stairwell. It is up to the proponent as part of their proposal to indicate preferred lighting and if the existing lighting valence is retained, modified or removed entirely to achieve desired results.
