A timeline for construction has not yet been established. *Previous solicitation listed below for reference:* Reference Number 0000395359 Bid Intent Not Available Purchase Type Duration: 3 years General Statement of Work: The City and County of Denver ("CCD") is seeking an Engineering firm (Consultant) to provide design services for the 38th and Monaco Intersection Improvements Project (Project). The Project implements operational and safety improvements identified by a Road Safety Audit performed as part of the City and County of Denver's Vision Zero Road Safety Audit Program. The project consists of the design and construction of the following elements: 1. Reconstruct the existing Traffic Signal including replacement of poles, mast arms, signal heads, controllers, and related equipment. 2. Modify Signal Timing and Phasing. 3. Modify westbound to northbound right turn slip lane approach angle and turning radius. 4. Modify eastbound to southbound right turn slip lane approach angle and turning radius. 5. Relocate crosswalk across south leg of the intersection. 6. Prohibit northbound right-turns on red. 7. Provide enhanced pedestrian signals on all movements. 8. Reconstruct curb ramps and other pedestrian amenities for compliance with current ADA standards. 9. Mill and resurface all impacted areas. These elements will calm traffic, improve access for people with disabilities, reduce vehicle crashes, increase pedestrian safety at the intersection, which is on the City's High Injury Network, and will replace equipment that is outdated or beyond its service life.
