Construction services for the installation of pre-purchased coarse screen equipment for the Dartmouth Wastewater Treatment Facility. The existing coarse screen equipment is deteriorated and passed its operating life. Failure of the existing screen could result in overflows or a plant bypass. Halifax Water has pre-purchased two (2) automated coarse screens, one (1) washer compactor, one control panel for screen and washer compactor operation, and appurtenances to replace the existing coarse screening equipment at the facility. Halifax Water requires the services of a Contractor to install the system in accordance with the Contract Documents. This document specifies the requirements for furnishing all labour, material, and equipment necessary for installation of the supplied equipment and to complete the Work required by the Contract Documents.
