Remodeling of a military facility in Nome, Alaska. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.
BID DUE DATE TIME EXTENSION: **Bid due date has been extended to 9/11/2025** The Engineer's Estimate is $1,125,000.00 The Department of Military and Veteran's Affairs, Alaska Army National Guard Facilities Management Office, is soliciting bids for design and construction services for the Nome AAOF (Hangar) Office Remodel. Questions concerning the attached ITB or contents therein must be in writing and directed to the DMVA-FMO Office. Contact Information. Scott Stewart, Project Manager DMVA-FMO Telephone: (907) 428-7198 Email: mvafmocontracts@alaska.gov The Contractor shall provide all design documents, permits, licenses, insurance, equipment, materials, supplies, labor, travel, and other necessary expenses to complete the project outlined herein. The project shall include a complete restoration of the upstairs offices, common area, kitchen, and bathroom to include patching, paint, new carpet, base trim, LED lighting, and ceiling tile replacement. The contractor shall be responsible for movement of furniture and other items to perform the demolition, removal, disposal and replacement of existing carpet, base trim, light fixtures, kitchen cabinets and countertops, bathroom fixtures and shower surrounds. The facility drinking fountain shall be replaced with a drinking fountain that has bottle filling capabilities. Existing arctic entryways shall have exterior doors installed. All work shall be performed in accordance with applicable building standards, and in accordance with local and federal and state regulations including but not limited to UFC's, NFPA fire protection and OSHA safety regulations. : Contractor shall power snake the entire facility drainage system to achieve proper drainage. Remove and dispose of the existing stairway treadle covering and dispose of according to Federal, State & Local regulations. Then install new treadle covering, contractor shall supply to the FMO project manager 3 options of treadle covering to chose from.
