**As of October 2, 2025, the project was awarded to Grandville Enterprise but the awarded amount is not available.** Urban League of the River Valley Office Renovations and Beautification Project General Contracting Services. Building One: ULGC desires to preserve the structure's historical, architectural, and cultural character. The exterior will undergo extensive renovation services, from the roof to the foundation and all areas in between, including enhancements to the front entrance, new windows, exterior lighting, and a new agency signage message board. Bring the structure to code, and adherence to any local historical guidelines required by the city is paramount. The interior will be gutted and converted into an event space with soundproof room dividers, allowing multiple functions to co-occur. All required work in the construction trades will be evaluated, with necessary repairs or replacements performed in accordance with building codes. New appropriate lighting, updated restrooms, event space furnishings, window treatment, and a welcoming reception area will also be included. Building Two: The exterior will require minor improvements: front entrance enhancements, exterior lighting, and a new agency message board. The interior will be reconfigured to accommodate the administrative staff, program staff, training rooms, conference room, breakrooms, and bathrooms. Additional Enhancements: Landscaping, Update Courtyard, and Parking Lot Paving. The project will consist of the following renovations and improvements to both structures as delineated below: Demolition and remediation services Provide an accessibility ramp at the rear entrances. Upgrade the courtyard between the two buildings New sidewalks connecting Replace existing windows with energy-efficient type windows. Repair defective brick foundation wall as needed. Repair defective exterior wood siding as needed. Repair all defective wood trim. Provide a weather protection canopy at the main entrances. Replace the main entrance doors and hardware. Paint the exterior with acceptable historic colors. Repair all leaks. Install all new HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, as well as new lighting. Repair, replace, and paint interior walls, flooring, and ceilings Renovate all restrooms Upgrade all technology, including security cameras New reception area, staff office furniture, breakroom furniture, conference room, event space tables/chairs, kitchenette, and chairs, and training room furniture New exterior and interior signage Pave and stripe parking areas Pressure washes all grounds and buildings.
