Site work for a water / sewer project in Stanardsville, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Bids may be withdrawn using the procedure set forth in Virginia Code 2.2-4330 B.1. The project will consist of the following work: 11,475 feet of 24-inch raw water main piping, 43 feet of 48-inch steel casing pipe under Fredericksburg Road using jack and bore methods, 51 feet of 48-inch steel casing pipe under Westover Drive using open cut methods, and Related incidental work. Bid Security: Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or an acceptable bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the base bid. Bidders must be licensed as contractors in the Commonwealth of Virginia in accordance with Title 54.1, Chapter 11 of the Code of Virginia (1950) as amended.
