A certified check or bank draft payable to the Owner or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond, Payment Bond, and Maintenance Bond in the amount of the contract written by a responsible surety company authorized to do business in the State of Texas and satisfactory to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding and to reject any or all bids.
