Renovation of a municipal facility in Sanderson, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

SUMMARY OF WORK This project is located at the Osceola National Forest Ranger District Office at 24874 US Highway 90, Sanderson, FL 32087. From Lake City, Florida on US Highway 90 East travel approximately 12 miles to the Osceola National Forest District Office Complex near the community of Olustee, Florida. The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, and materials to complete this project, including electrical, insulation, duct work, plumbing, and asbestos abatement, to replace three (3) HVAC units at the Osceola National Forest Ranger District Office. _ One 20-ton unit, _ One 10-ton unit _ One 5-ton unit. 1. Remove and dispose of existing HVAC system components and line set currently in use. 2. Remove and dispose of Coils/Furnaces inside of building. 3. HVAC unit refrigerant will be 410A or 145B. Older refrigerants will not be accepted. 4. The contactor shall evacuate/recover all existing refrigerant from old systems in accordance with state and federal procedures. Venting or releasing is prohibited. 5. Contractor shall retrofit new systems to existing duct work, wiring, and remove and replace refrigerant lines. Refrigerant lines shall have the Triple Evacuation Procedure with nitrogen or other approved procedure shall be performed to ensure lines are free of contaminates. 6. Provide and install new wall mounted programable thermostats. 7. Electrical, sheet metal, and plumbing will be incidentals in the replacement of the unit. 8. HVAC units and materials shall be in good condition and easily removed from packaging without scratching, denting, and free from harm. Damaged materials will be replaced at no charge to the government. 9. Contractor shall perform a complete system check including testing, adjusting, and balancing after installation of new systems. Checking and modifying ducting as needed to maintain the static pressure, air flow and run the new HVAC units through both a heating and cooling cycle to ensure unit is operating at optimal efficiency and providing uniform temperature to all areas supplied by each replaced HVAC unit. Notify the COR in advance of system check 10. Replace the HVAC systems at the following locations with a HVAC system of equal capacity. The new units must meet current SEER2 requirements in the southeast region. 11. All three units will be from the same manufacturer and must be properly sized for the facility and area to be serviced by the new HVAC system.
