As of October 17, 2025, project was awarded to Pimmex Contracting Corp. but award amount is not available. Installation of new streetlights and retrofitting some existing, along 51st Ave corridor, for 2.05 miles on the Gila River Indian Community (GRIC). The scope of work will include installing poles, mast, light fixtures, associated wiring, conduits, meter pedestals and pull boxes. The installation schedule is divided into two phases. The first phase will run north on 51st Ave. from St. Johns Rd to Judum Dr. The second phase will continue north from Judum Dr to Komatke Ln.
