Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for a military facility in Los Alamitos, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a military facility; for site work for a military facility; and for asbestos abatement for a military facility.

Demolish 1,500 square feet (SF) of existing lofts and 3,000 SF of existing mezzanine. Remediate the remaining 28,378 square feet (SF) of the existing 32,878 square foot building. Work will consist of furnishing notifications, fees, labor, materials, disposal needs, equipment, warranties, and third-party monitoring agency to remove all Lead and Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM), and complete the selective demolition of all interior spaces of Hangar 2. All spaces shall have partition walls removed restoring building to original floor plan. Contractor shall remove all wall coverings down to the studs, CMU and concrete walls and all nails, staples and fasteners removed. Contractor shall account for the removal and disposal of ACM flooring beneath partition walls built after original construction IAW original floor plans attached. All work shall comply with this scope of work and the attached drawings and specifications. Contractor is responsible for all necessary permits, providing supervision, quality control and safety during the entire project. Contractor will be responsible for having all underground utilities marked prior to Job Start. Contractor is responsible for implementing best practices to protect the environment in accordance with state and local laws. Work shall be performed during normal business hours, unless otherwise specified. Any damage done by the contractor shall be repaired or replaced at no additional cost to the Army National Guard. All concrete and asphalt removed shall be recycled or utilized on Post by Joint Forces Training Base (JFTB) Los Alamitos DPW, Contractor will coordinate with DPW for location. Submit copies of recycled material weigh master tickets to the government.
