The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources with the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements for the refurbishment of seven (7) B20128 Make-up Air Handler units (fans 6-12) used by United States Air Force (USAF) personnel. The scope includes removing all existing fans, filter racks, and hot water coils while retaining the metal housing. The refurbished system must interface with existing Johnson Controls to modulate variable speed supply fans and maintain a wet process area space pressure of negative (-) 0.02WC relative to the outdoors. A new differential air pressure sensor must be provided, and all fan VFDs will receive control signals from this single sensor. Each unit will be configured as a Fan Array System, replacing a single large fan with multiple smaller fans arranged in a grid pattern. Each air handler housing will include a fan, filter racks, and hot water coils, and must deliver 55,000 CFM at 4.75 Total Static Pressure using 480/3/60 electrical. The system must support current and future capabilities including alarming, airflow trending, scheduling for startup/shutdown, and future dashboard monitoring integration for Building Automation System (BAS), Damper Control, Heating Coil, Filters, Low Pressure, and Smoke Controls.
