The undersigned having read the Notice to Bidders, Invitation to Bid, Instructions to Bidders and Special Provisions attached thereto for the above Project and having examined the site of the work and furnish all materials mentioned in the plans and/or specifications for the entire work in the manner prescribed or as amended or modified by the Special Provisions at the unit prices listed below It is understood that the quantities listed below of the various items of work to be performed or materials to be furnished, are estimates only which can be increased or decreased in the manner designated in the Plans and/or Specifications. All materials specified herein shall comply with the 2019 Edition of the New Jersey Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, and the additions to and modifications of the Standard Specifications applicable to County and Municipal construction. Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond must be not less than ten (10%) percent of the total amount of the bid, except that no check or bid bond shall be for more than $20,000.00 and made payable to the Atlantic County Treasurer which the undersigned agrees is to be forfeited as liquidated damages and not a penalty if the Contract is awarded to the undersigned and the undersigned shall fail to execute the Contract for the project or furnish the required bond. Otherwise, said deposit shall be returned to the undersigned. f a bidder has a direct or indirect parent entity which is publicly traded, and any person holds a 10 percent or greater beneficial interest in the publicly traded parent entity as of the last annual federal Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) or foreign equivalent filing, ownership disclosure can be met by providing links to the website(s) containing the last annual filing(s) with the federal Securities and Exchange Commission (or foreign equivalent) that contain the name and address of each person holding a 10% or greater beneficial interest in the publicly traded parent entity, along with the relevant page numbers of the filing(s) that contain the information on each such person. I warrant that no requirement or commitment was made in reference to any political contribution to any party, person, or elected official and that no undisclosed benefits of any kind were promised to any one connected with County government or any political party in reference hereto.
