Renovation of a multi-residential development in Charlotte, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 22,800-square-foot multi-residential development.
Savanna Woods - Phase I Interior and Exterior Renovation for 20 Units Question Deadline 08/26/2025 at 5:00 PM ET SCOPE OF WORK See Savanna Woods Project Manual and Specifications and Full Drawings for complete scope of work Units will not be occupied during renovation work. The tenants will be temporarily relocated to another unit during the construction period and then they will be moved back into their unit once all renovations are completed. The General Contractor will be responsible for packing, relocation, and unpacking of all tenant belongings to and from the temporary units. The contractor will provide all the boxes, shipping containers and packing materials. HDP will assist the general contractor with tenant notifications, HUD rules & requirements. The owner will make 4 to 5 units available at a time for renovations. The construction schedule and tenant relocation schedule will need to be coordinated with the Owner ahead of time. Some work may be required in select units out of scope of the project prior to tenants being able to move into temporary units (i.e. handicap grab bar installation or other minimal ADA upgrades). The contractor will need to clean swing units prior to occupancy and after occupancy. This is anticipated to be 5 sets of 8 cleanings, for a total of 40 units cleaned through the course of the project. The contractor's moving subcontractor must carry sufficient insurances and handle all damage claims.
