Renovation of a municipal facility in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 47,910-square-foot, three-story above grade municipal facility.

The project consists of the modifications to the Township Court Clerks Transaction Windows within the Cherry Hill Township Building located at 820 Mercer Street, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002. Work will occur within the building while occupied by staff. The Contractor shall do their best to avoid any disruption to normal township activities. 24 hours notice is required to shut down the corridor within the scope of work. A safe and secure envoironment will be provided for all occupants during the construciton process. Specific renovations scope is as follows Every request forsuch interpretation should be made in writing via email, addressed to the Purchasing Agent and Deputy Purchasing Agent (APlodizyn@chnj.gov and CPaxinos@chnj.gov), and to be given consideration, must be received by August 26, 2025, 10:00 am Cherry Hill Municipal Building Court Transaction Window Security Improvements Demolition: The Contractor is responsible for the complete and proper demolition and removal of all materials necessary to complete the renovation of the new violation security improvements. New Work: The Contractor is responsible and obligated to successfully complete the entire project and to complete each and every necessary detail of every item required to install and operate violation security improvements. The contractor shall field verify all existing dimensions prior to construction and/or preparation of shop drawings. New work includes, but is not limited to: 1. Contractor shall construct temporary wall with lockable door to secure open office from the public corridor. All finishes shall be seamlessly patched to match adjacent surfaces when wall is removed. 2. Contractor shall seal construction area from the rest of the office with minimum 4 mil plastic sheathing. All finishes shall be seamlessly patched to match adjacent surfaces when sheathing is removed. 3. Contractor shall remove existing transaction window, supports and adjacent shelving as indicated within the contract documents. 4. Contractor shall Remove of existing door and frame as shown within the contract documents. 5. Contractor shall remove existing carpet tile as needed to install new wall panels. Existing carpet tiles left in place shall be protected from damage. Any tiles damaged shall be replaced in kind with no additional cost to owner. 6. Contractor shall remove existing ceiling grid system as required to install new wall panels.Modify and/or replace components as required with new wall thickness 7. Contractor shall remove GWB and cove base on the OFFICE side of the existing wall as shown within the contract documents. 8. Contractor shall remove portions of the wall to install new transaction windows as shown within the contract documents. 9. Contractor shall install new lintel as shown within the contract documents. 10. Contractor shall install any new studs and blocking required to install all items and accessories. 11. Contractor shall install new level 3 ballistic wood door and hollow metal door frame as indicated within the contract documents. 12. Contractor shall coordinate new electric strike (supplied by Township) and coordinate with the reinstallation of existing credential reader door release. 13. Contractor shall install new custom level 3 ballistic fiberglass reinforced counter as indicated within the contract documents. Inclusive of blocking, brackets and ballistic deal tray. Coordinate placement of deal trays with landing of roll down shutter. 14. Contractor shall install new custom level 3 ballistic transaction window assembly as indicated within the contract documents. Inclusive of level 3 ballistic framing, glazing and speak-thrus. 15. Contractor shall install new 10'-0" high level 3 ballistic fiberglass wall panels with 4" wide wall battens as shown within the contract documents. Install as per manufacturer's recommendations. The Township Council reserves the right to reject all proposals pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2 (Rejection of Bids) and to waive such minor informalities as may be permitted by law. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq., Affirmative Action requirements. Bidders are also required to comply with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5 et seq., P.L. 2004, Chapter 19 (as amended by P.L. 2005, c.51). Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23c, addenda may be issued for bids and will be provided as prescribed by law. It is the sole responsibility of the person submitting the proposal to be knowledgeable of all addenda related to this procurement. If bidders obtain a Bid/RFP/RFQ from the website, it is the responsibility of the person submitting the bid to check prior to the bid opening to see if addenda have been issued.
