This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Montreal, Quebec. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.
Reference number: 20088843 Deadline for receipt of complaints 2025-08-25 Expected duration of the contract without options (in months) 8 Pointe-a-Calliere, cite d'archeologie et d'histoire de Montreal will present an exhibition entitled Sherlock (working title) from November 27, 2025 to March 8, 2026. This exhibition will immerse visitors in the world of Sherlock Holmes and the beginnings of the Montreal police. This exhibition is an adaptation of the traveling exhibition The International Exhibtion of Sherlock Holmes, whose furniture is already existing. Pointe-a-Calliere will enhance this exhibition with the addition of sections including an introduction area, an area on Conan Doyle and Canada, an area on the beginnings of the Montreal investigative police and a final area. Only the additions made by Pointe-a-Calliere will be part of the contract. All the furniture elements of the traveling exhibition are the responsibility of the producer of the traveling exhibition and therefore outside the mandate of the successful bidder. Intended for families and the general public, the exhibition will occupy the temporary exhibition rooms of the Mariners' House. The objective is to offer our audiences an immersive scenographic experience, full of color, which will be enhanced with interactives, in order to create a visit experience conducive to discovery. For the execution of the mandate, the successful bidder will have to proceed with the manufacturing of several components of the museography, the decorations and the furniture, with the storage of the manufactured elements if necessary, the installation and dismantling, as well as the integration of certain equipment into the furniture planned for this purpose for the implementation of Pointe-a-Calliere's additions to the Sherlock exhibition (working title). Delivery schedule Dismantling of sets: 9 to 20 March 2026
