The City of Savannah is requesting proposals from qualified firms for the removal and replacement of sidewalks within the City of Savannah. The purpose of this bid process, in partnership with the City and local business owners, is to encourage the replacement of sidewalks in order to enhance the appearance of our community while securing the most cost-effective pricing for participating business owners. The selected contractor will be responsible for: - Removal of existing sidewalks at designated locations. - Installation of new concrete sidewalks per bid specifications and design standards. - Restoration of disturbed areas following construction. - Coordination with local businesses and City staff to minimize disruption. - Compliance with all permits, safety regulations, and ADA accessibility requirements. o All work must be completed and invoiced to the City by July 1, 2026. o Liquidated damages of $750.00 per day will be assessed for failure to meet the completion deadline .
