Reference Number 0000395744 The approximate quantities involved in this work are as follows: Water Main, DI, 16 inch, Tr Det F 175 FT Water Main, HDPE, DR-11, DIPS, 16 inch, Directional Drill 138 FT Gate Well, 72 inch 3 EA Water Main Connection, 16 inch 3 EA Question Deadline 08/27/2025 at 5:00 PM ET- All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the proposal, payable to the Charter Township of Shelby, as security for the acceptance of the contract. A bid bond on the Michigan Standard Form, issued by an approved Surety Company, may be furnished in lieu of a certified check. No bidder may withdraw his proposal within ninety (90) calendar days after the date set for opening thereof. This time frame may be adjusted through material agreement between the Owner and Contractor. PRE-QUALIFICATIONS The Prime Contractor shall demonstrate that they have successfully completed projects in the last five (5) years of equal scope in the State of Michigan and each totaled more than $500,000 minimum per year. The right to accept any bid, to reject any or all proposals and to waive irregularities in bidding is reserved by the Charter Township of Shelby. Portions of this Contract may be deleted due to unforeseen circumstances without compensation. Acceptance of any bid does not constitute a binding agreement until a written Contract is signed by both parties.
