The building will feature approximately 54,600 square feet of enclosed interior area, complemented by an additional 8,000 square feet of covered outdoor space. Exact scope will depend on budget and may include additional kennels and dog-training pavilion. As of June 11, 2026, this project is included in the County 2026-2032 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Two architects have been revealed, and the project design was approved in January of 2026.
