The work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to, the complete re-roofing of the Fleet Building. This encompasses system design, permitting, tear-off and disposal of existing roofing materials, and the installation of a new, approved roofing system. The scope also includes inspections, submission of guarantee letters, and all related tasks necessary to deliver a fully functional and compliant roofing system. Specific work elements consist of wood deck reroofing including wood deck renailing or wood decking replacement and perimeter wood nailers, where needed; lightweight concrete deck reroofing including lightweight concrete deck repair where needed. ,. Additionally, the project includes inspection and coordination for solar panel installations by others, installation of walkway pads, solar panel mechanical attachments, solar slip sheets, and provision of all required guarantees for the deck and roofing system.
