Dakota County is seeking bids from qualified contractors for door and key repair, maintenance and installation at all county facilities. The purpose of this contract is to secure countywide door and key maintenance, repair, and installation services. The term of the contract shall be January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2026, with two options to extend the contract for 2027 and 2028 respectively. Bids must be submitted only on the bid form supplied in this RFB document. No oral, telegraphic or telephonic bids or modifications will be considered. Submit with each bid a certified check or acceptable bidder's bond payable to Dakota County in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total base bid. The successful bidder is required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond equal to 100% of the total contract amount. Bids may not be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the opening bids. It is anticipated that the Dakota County Manager will sign off on the project within a week of bids being submitted and reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject any or all bids, or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding.
